It is a safety feature to prevent damage if anything is in the path of the window travel. Make sure you have nothing in the path of the window which may pinch it in any way and that the channel is clear. Window visors like Weathertech may interfere with the window since they install in the top of the channel. If it is all clear, try the window reset as mentioned above and that should fix it. If not, you may have to pull the door panel to check the window channel inside the door. Lube it with white lithium while you're in there.

there was a TSB about this a while ago, what happens is the channels get dirty and the window encouters a lot of resistance going up. Thus the window stops and rolls back down thinking that there's something in the way.

I know this is a little late, but my passenger side window did this for and worsened over time. The dealer said the same thing about the window Channel and the reset, neither resolved the problem. I took the door panel apart one piece at a time till the window would role up with out issue, took only 30 minutes to troubleshoot. Turns out the rubber weather strip that is held in place by the interior door panel was to far forward and catching the window.
