hi.. i have an 05 tl and am having a problem .. i was hoping someone might know what could be wrong

doors locked security armed i can disarm and unlock car with key but i cant get the windows to go down with the double turn.
with the windows up door closed, i can get the doors to lock but the alarm wont set.

with the remote i can get everything to work as intended.

any ideas??

I was unaware you could roll the windows down with a double turn of the key. I do know that you can roll them up and close the sunroof with a double lock turn!

 

OP-- might be a driver's window actuator or MICU problem.

Opening and closing the windows and sunroof with the key is in the owner's manual.

However, it's easier and more efficient to use the remote to open the windows and sunroof while approaching the car.
