Window regulator problem I think?
Window regulator problem I think?
My passenger side front window no longer goes down. It will not go down from drivers side control or control on passengers door. Each time the control is lifted or depressed a clicking can be heard in the door itself ( i removed the paneling). All other windows function normally.
In searching the threads I believe my problem is the window regulator in the passengers door. Has anyone had this problem and had the clicking sound in their door?
As an aside, as I have disconnected the plugs on the passengers door the main lock actuator ( and hence the remote) does not seem to function. I guess it needs all doors connected. Kid is screaming. Got to go. Thanks.

I have this same problem (except no kid screaming) on the same exact window. It happened to me many months ago, but then started working again until just last week when it got stuck again (thank goodness in the full up position). I haven't done much about it, but am interested in what others have to say. Its too hot in Florida to roll the windows down anyway.
When I had a problem with my drive side window i thought it was that as well but it was actually just the switch... If you find the two wires to short the window will go up or down if it is just the switch... maybe somebody here knows which pins to short... good luck
