wind / engine noise

when driving i hear wind / engine sound under the steering wheel the sound increases the more i accelerate . is this suppose to happen?

Do you have your vents open? Perhaps that's what you hear.

vents open no its coming directly from under the steering wheel some where around the gas and break pedals
