How long did u let the pump work for? because if you let it drain dry it could take a little while for the new fluid to make its way through the pipes.

Force it to work for a minute or two and then if you still have nothing then u have an issue. Of course im assuming it is not cold weather where you are because that will be a whole different issue in terms of timeframe. and the type of fluid you use.

I just had the same problem - see my post in Problems & Fixes.

You probably have a blown fuse. Is the green light also out on the rear view mirror, did you lose power in your side mirrors and seat settings?

There's a TSB on this. The fuse you need to replace is #20. Replace the 7.5A fuse with a 10A fuse.

I pulled back the lever several times- maybe about 6 or so. i held it for about 30 seconds each time. should i try to hold it down for longer after i check the fuses?

where do i find the fuses? and how many fuse boxes do we have?
and thanks guys for the replies

Make sure it's the fuse - is the green light on in the rearview mirror?

If you need to change it, the under dash fuse box is on the side panel near the gas tank release latch. Slide the door towards you and it will unhook.

There should be fuse puller in there, and I think a spare fuse too. Good luck getting to it, I had to have someone do it for me because it's very awkward to access. Just make sure to replace the 7.5A fuse with a 10A fuse in slot #20.

Does your TL live outdoors, and has your weather been pretty cold? It sometimes happens that when you run dry and suck some air into the system the alcohol in the tubing evaporates to the point that the remaining fluid freezes. This most often happens at the orifices up by the cowl, and engine heat may not be enough to melt it. If the fuse is OK you might try putting it in a heated garage for a while. This used to happen to me a lot when driving Detroit iron.
