will 2007 tl-s trans fit a 2004 tl base

just wondering if the 2007 will fit. Or will any 07-08 tl fit the 04 or no.
I know the accord 06-07 fits the tl 2004

My trans is dead. slipping. Wondering if I should rebuild or just replace

Nope. 07-08 won't work.

Replace with the 2006-2007 AV6 tranny.

Well yeah that would require much more effort to find the right components to run the different engine. Diffrent ECU's/harnesses if im not mistaken. It would be much more expensive compared to a AV6 trans that fits up.
