Base TL automatic transmision.. A-spec suspension for auto trans or manual trans.

Ok fom all the posts I have been reading, the a-spec suspension for the a/t is not the same as the one for the m/t. From my understanding it is due to the weight difference between the two transmissions. From other posts I am reading I also gather that the A-spec for the m/t will drop the car more and can be used with the a/t.

1. If this is possible,(using the m/t A-spec on an a/t) I should check with the dealer and make sure it does not void my warranty.

2. Is it true that the m/t A-spec drops the car more.

3.Can you use the m/t A-spec with an a/t.

4. Will the ride quality be different on my a/t if I put in the m/t A-spec.

Thank you.

Maybe some of the gearheads can chime in and help you but my understanding is that you can't use the m/t a-spec kit on an a/t. I could be completely wrong though.

In the thread I was reading, some dealerships covered it and others did not.

i think they did... You can do it, but when I bought mine, I wanted the set that was engineered for my car...

If you are so concerned with the drop get one some adjustable ones. You will come out ahead in the long run, considering I have an a-spec kit, but I'm looking to buy some Tiens.
