Hey Zine family. I have an 07 TL-S and I've been having a prob with the car shutting down on me. For example, sometimes my car doesn't start, like the battery is dead, and after a few tries it starts up no problem. And the car resets itself. This has been happening more often I've only had this battery for about 4 months. Anyone have any ideas?

 

check to see if the battery connection is secure and tight.
the cables might be loose.

 

Pay particular attention to the positive battery clamp (which may be slightly oversize for the post) and the ground cable at the chassis.

If your battery is pretty new, my guess is that the positive clamp is loose-- whether from wear or old battery removal-- and just needs to be tightened down with a little shim (from any auto parts store) to fix the problem.

Wow. The clamp on the negative post was lose. Thanks. Felt real stupid having to ask for a jump from people and didn't even need it.
