I've purchased a used 04' TL this past January and all of a sudden in this spring I lower my windows and notice when I start my car in the morning I get a squealing noise. *NOTE: This sound eventually goes away when i'm driving for a good 5min. but usually when I turn off the car for about 4-5hrs I receive that squealing noise again and again disappears after 5min. of driving. Any thoughts or suggestions?

FYI: I did take it to Acura and they stated they didn't hear it.

Most Likly, It Is Your Accessory Belt(s) Needing A Change. They Are Really Cheap And You Can Change Em In Minutes

 

wow it seems very few know about this issue, it also happens when it rains and the car is off. for a few. the sound gets really loud and horrible.

 

Mine always does this when it rains for about 1-2 minutes, never when it's dry...kind of annoying and doesn't make sense to me.

 

don't know how I ran into this thread but I'd get some belt dressing and spray it on some belts.
