Wierd car behavior :(((((

Hi guys am new to this site and a recent new owner of a 2006 acura tl. So first of am having a wierd behavior with my car. Basically two weeks ago the car didnt want to start i had to turn my key alot of time and quickly so the car would start. Afterwards i came on this site to see if people had the same symptoms as i have and often everyone says its the starter. So i decide to installed a new starter and btw the batterie is brand new too. After i installed the starter everything was ok and the next day when i was going to work the car didnt start again. I even hit the starter but it doesnt make the car start. When i put the key on position II everything works radio ac etc. i thought it was the car's immobilizer security system but its not cuz when i put key on position II the key symbol light on the dashboard doesnt blink. So basically for now the car only starts if i connect a croc cable directly from the batterie to the solenoid blade connector and crank the key. Btw the batterie is good and connectors r clean. So if someone can help me out with this problem it would be much appreciated

Sounds like a bad ignition switch.

Welcome to AZ.

Yea i was thinking it might be that. But don't really know where to find it or replace it. Is it a hard job to DIY? If not am really handy with car mechanics/electrics. If you can explain or have a pic or something on how to replace it it would be awesome. Thx

So i got the car checked by a mechanic and he told me that the problem is a bad ground from the chassis car itself to the motor ...is it possible that might be the problem that is causing my car to behave like that??

Yea it could be just always check your ground wires. Kinda like when you install a new radio, everything could be wired up perfectly but if you don't have a good ground it won't work.
