White at default won't work on Switchbacks..

is anyone familiar with this problem... after having it for a couple of month, one of my switchback won't light up at default, only blinks amber. I installed it back in early October 08. Does anyone have a same problem? Is there a warranty on these bulbs?

Thank you

There are 2 circuits in a switchback. One for the parking lights and one for the signal. There could be a problem with the parking light circuit on your LED. Try reseating it in the harness or take it out and flip it. See if that helps.

it's possible. but equally possible that the connection is weak. You will find out for sure and rule out a weak connection if you reseat it and/or flip it.

HEY!! Another failure! Collezione, this is not an isolated event. This has been happening to other people too! I doubt it is your connection (I'll put money on it) but double check anyways. Take it out, turn it around and make sure the pins are making full contact.

If it still doesn't work then JOIN THE CLUB! Autolumination is making some crappy ass bulbs!!!

LOL Rocky. You've really got it out for Autolumination dontcha. I'm not even sure if the OP's bulbs are from Autolumination.

I'll tell you why I have beef.....I installed them on my car, they failed 1 yr later. I complained to them and they acted like this never happened before and there was something wrong with my car. I told them there is something defective with their design because all my other LEDs have no problem. The best they did was a discount on a new set which I bought like a dumbass. (I still have them sittin here not installed yet. Who knows if they are defective, I probably wasted ANOTHER $50.)

I installed them on Brian's first set of lights. (With my recommendation of course.) He sold them to aznbnz and his failed in 6 months. I did Brian's second set of lights and his failed this month.

So you see I did a lot of positive feedback for these guys back then. Then I had a problem and they didn't care. They are not taking care of us. SO now I am obliged to bring that rep down sorry! I told so many people to buy them back then and now they are stuck with duds. That's why I feel bad! AZine I am so sorry, now I know better. But in the meantime I want to spread the opposite word. I pointed out to them that I was helping them bring in business. They didn't flinch. I hope it hurts them.

v-leds sells them now too!

who knows if they're the same exact bulb, but v-leds customer service is pretty good, and they're website doesn't look like it was designed by a 5-year-old.

Don't worry Rocky... it happens... I'm sure no one is going to blame you for it, companies change when it comes to problems but as far as OP, he seems to have had a favorable outcome so maybe their negative publicity is working and scaring them into doing the right thing.

After your review of autolumniation I also purchased LED from them, however none of mine failed but then again I didn't buy the switchbacks from them, because at the time I didn't want to hack up my headlight housing.

I have Autolumination switchbacks too. So far they are holding up pretty well. I do have a slight issue with the passenger side LED. When I turn on my lights, only the driver side lights up. If i flick the turn signal on for 1 blink, then the white light will come on. Other than that, they are working great. I just flick my right turn signal everytime I turn on my lights now. No big deal for me.

Just get the ones from v-leds, I don't think anyone has had problems with those ones yet. Mine are good so far.

I just bought the last pair of 7443 switchback turn signals from v-leds and cannot get them to work. I thought they were a direct swap? Resistors are on their way soon and knew the switchbacks would hyperflash in the meantime but I'm not getting any output from them whatsoever. I tried both sides with both bulbs and nothing. Finally re-installed the stock bulbs and they work fine. Any suggestions?
