Power steering O-ring? Mine does something like you descirbe when cold outside

belt pulley or maybe tensioner probably. they make a handy little stethoscope with a rod so that you can pin point sounds like that. my dodge does the same thing when the bearings in the pulley are cold.

My guess is a belt. Orrrr a hidden supercharger?

There is a TSB for it and the dealer will fix it for free. Happened to me also but only when it was cold out.

No-- and I bet it's more of a whining noise.
That's the power steering whine, which is resolved most of the time by replacing the inlet hose O-ring-- $2> part and 5 minutes' work (with a 10mm combo wrench)-- see https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...steering+whine.
