What to do about possible crank walk

Hello I recently had my timing jump I replaced the full timing kit and noticed my timing cover was being shredded where the crank came through and after getting to all put back together it makes a sound right there. when it’s running it sounds like it is still rubbing Idk what to do or how to fix it I’m just worried that was what caused my crank to jump time from my cams (for reference both cams were timed to each other but my crank was 90 degrees out) (car still ran when it was out but only when warmed up and it sounded like a Harley)

If it's 'shredded' and interfering with something, search on part #11810-RCA-A01 and buy a replacement?

LOL you better pray to god that you don't have "crank walk", or else your entire engine is toast.

What you're describing sounds like the typical crank pulley/harmonic dampener, a 2 piece design held together by rubber, is starting to deteriorate and the outer ring is rubbing on the timing covers.

And who did your timing belt job; you? a shop? Because a bad crank pulley sounds like the least of your problems. If the crank really was 90* out of time with the cams, there's a good chance you slammed the pistons into the valves, in which case you're in for some bad news.

I still don’t know how to use this site so pardon if I replied wrong but I did and I pulled the heads and checked the valves to tolerance and I water tested the heads and no water was getting by my valves thank god but it runs great I’ve driven it and it has more power than it felt like it had before (I also did a complicate tune up changed gaskets filters re sealed valve seats so that’s also probably helping) but it has the noise but I’ll look into that lower pulley your talking about

Edit: I feel like a idiot I just re read the comment and realized you were talking about the harmonic balancer I felt like such a idiot

there is a spacer/guide that needs to go behind the crank, it's part no 13 in the link above for the harmonic balancer, make sure you put that back.
