Exclamation What could it be?

I am a new owner of a 2005 Acura TL with navi. Randomly when i turn on my car i have to input the the codes for the navi and sometimes radio as if there was a total power loss. The trip computer also resets to 0.

This friday i went to turn the car on and it didn't start. So i went back home to get a battery jump starter, ad when i came back it started with no problems, i didn't even connect the jump starter.

Any ideas? I was thinking the battery.

All help is appreciated.

Check the cable ends first-- clamps for tightness (they get loose) and corrosion, for the first foot or so of each cable back from the clamp. Tighten and/or clean/replace as necessary.

If the symptoms persist or the cables & clamps are fine, it's the battery.

When u check for corrosion don't just look at the clamps .. take them off and physically clean both the clamp and the mating surface ...
