werid starting
Hi guys just happened today...I have an 06 about 3 months old with 1100 miles in it. I tried starting her and it took about 3-4 secs before she started. Normally it doesnt even take 1 sec to start her. Any takes?

Most likely very normal (though I could be wrong). The car automatically, and continuously, adjusts many things about the fuel/air/timing/etc to maintain the ULEV-2 rating that it has. Sometimes, the result is that you end up cranking for a couple of seconds before it catches.
I've had a few occasions where I started the car, but it was idling so slow I didn't even realize it! 2-3 seconds later, it came up to normal idle and has been fine.
Best advice would be to keep an 'ear' on it to see if it does it again. And, pay attention to variables if/when it happens again (sitting overnight, current temp, parked on a hill, etc). If you find that it happens only under extremely high/low humidity, or very cold temps after sitting all night, it's normal.

I remember reading something about this in the Manual. I would check the manual. It does say something about the "start" engine issue.....that sometimes it may take a few seconds to start....Don't worry, it is NORMAL.
I was concerned about this too, until I read it in the manual.
