i got my tl 6 months ago around a month ago. everytime i leave my car in my parking lot over a night with low temperature the next day i drive it it make one weird noise.

when it first changes from gear 1 to 2 it makes a small pop sound, sometimes from gear 2-3 it makes that sound.

the pop sound sounds like the sound u turn on the AC.

after that ONE sound from the begining the car does NOT produces sound like that for the whole day.

i wonder if anyone has this issue with their tl and does anyone know what it is?

 

Sounds like a popping sound when you shift from first to second to me..

I'd bring it back to the dealer.

I had the same problem with my new TL. I believe it is the ABS (as others here have said).

It only happens when you first start the car and begin driving. Once the engine is "warm", it doesn't happen.

I have to read-up on this.......
