Weird Radio Noise?

I searched the forums and I find some different radio or speaker issues but so far I can not find anything like mine so I will start a new one. If there is a post to this already I apologize but please send me a link.

Since it has been cold my radio makes a bad buzzing sound, the problem though is that I am not too sure that it is coming from the speakers. If the car is turned off and the key is in the accessory position the radio, cd is fine but if the car is running it makes a bad buzzing sound until the car has warmed up (15 minutes). If I turn the sound to the rear the sound is still coming from the front. It almost sounds like it is coming from next to the center speaker. If the radio is off while driving then the sound is gone too. If the radio is on and sound at 1 you can hear it. If the radio is on but the sound set to 0 then you do not hear it. Why would having the car running or only by battery make the sound? Any help is very appreciated as the sound is very annoying.

Front speaker going out. Happens to a lot of people. Most people disconnect it since it's not exactly the most used speaker.

I thought it might be the center speaker but i move all the sound to the rear and it still does it? I am also puzzled as to why it does when the car is running versus only battery power it does not? If it is the centet speaker wouldn't putting all the volume in the rear make it go away? Thanks

I'm chasing a similar issue, yours could be one of two things. This weekend I plan on opening my amp and preforming that fix.

First and easiest is the ground wire from the hands free link. There is a tsb that shows how to fix it, I can't find the link right now. If you dont use your HFL, I would remove the whole unit as it will likely soon start to kill your battery.

Next is its your amp, this link shows you how to fix it. Because it happens when its cold I assume this is your problem.

The 2nd link does not work... Why does it make a difference if the car is running?

Here is what that link to the tsb shows. I know it says when you use the HFL, however many other AZ members report the same wine/ buzz from their radio and this fixed it. It doesn't give a reason why it only does it while the car is running though. One of the two things I mentioned will most likely fix your issue, you have a little of both symptoms to the problems, buzz and only does it when its cold. I would start with the procedure below as it will take 20 min to do. If you youtube how to remove the hfl it shows you a faster way that you don't have to remove the map lights. If you have something small and wide you can just pry the whole unit out. They have you take the map lights out in the procedure below so you have something to grab on to to pull it off.

If this doesn't work either buy a new amp, open your current one, or move some place warm.
