I seem to be having a weird issue with the reverse tilting function of the side view mirrors. I have it set for the driver mirror to tilt at the moment with the mirror adjustment switch to the left. It works fine. If i switch it over to the passenger mirror it sometimes will not work. Then i set it back to the driver and it wont work as well. I have to fiddle and adjust the mirror for a bit, and sometimes push the driver memory position button for it to start working again. Anyone know what could be causing this?

 

I have a problem where mine sticks and pops when rotating downwards, on both sides, but never heard about this before...

 

Visit the dealer- the dealer will likely replace some mirror parts. A few AZ members have had replacements when their outside mirrors don't tilt smoothly- you can probably find the threads with a search using "mirrors, tilt, replacement" as search terms.

 

I would, but it's out of warranty by like a month or so and the Acura dealers here aren't going to goodwill me a darn thing

 

its your switch..I had the same problem and the dealer changed the switch..problem solved

 

is there a way to stop the drivers side mirror from tilting down? its annoying, the back up cam is good enough or i can turn my head-doy! anyway....thks

 

Mirror Control Switch = Driver Side --> Driver Mirror Tilts Down

Mirror Control Switch = Passenger Side --> Passenger Mirror Tilts Down

Mirror Control Switch = Center/Off --> No Mirror Tilt in Reverse
