Weird idle blinking CEL? WTF
So yesterday Im sitting in kinds stop and go traffic for maybe 2 mins and I had a big rig pull beside me no biggie. So I hear a rough idle and i turn down my radio because it was an unfimiliar sound and not what you would think would come from a truck
So anyways I notice that its my car making that sound and my CEL is blinking 1 flash every second. I had to move forward and the car felt like I was starting out in 2 or 3rd gear and my car sounded like a WRX with an exhaust I was so scared because my car has never done that before.
It lasted for about 30 seconds or so while I was still in traffic and it went away. The only other time my CEL has blinked at me was when my #2 & 5 cylinders were at low compression and that was about 2 years ago. Acura fixed that.
Has this ever happened to anyone? Before the silly questions come out
*I was driving somewhat normal on the highway nothing out of the ordinary
* I always use 93 V-power
*No recent mods
*no my pro-cats are not failing

if it only blinks and doesnt stay on...it wont store codes...but its blinking because of slight misfires.... now if i remember correctly, you have mentioned smth to me....and this might be a sign of slight bent valves, since ur exhaust note changed as well
