Water in the trunk

It's been raining pretty good around here lately and now I have water/dampness in my trunk. There are some water drops on the left trunk "hinge" and water in the spare tire well. It looks like the rubber around the trunk is in good condition and I didn't notice any where it might be leaking from. Is it possible for water to get in from underneath the car? Something just doesn't seem right.

do you have a navi system? If so has it been working properly? There's a drain tube in the back corner by where it is so it might be leaking.

The car is out of warranty and does not have Navi. I can't see anywhere in the rubber the water might be leaking through. I'll give it another look.

The car was in an accident where the rear passenger/trunk area was hit, but the repairs were done a few years ago and it's never had this issue before.

on a nice day out, hose one side of the rear at a time, for a bit and then check to see where its leaking is coming from. good luck.

I have the same problem but coming from the right hinge for a few years now. Can not even see anywhere it could possibly be coming from... I shoved a few rags up there and it seemed to help, but you can tell the rags get wet and dry all the time.. The first of the year my whole bonus is going to go into repairing my car a bit.
