Warped front rotors at 25k of mild driving, normal?
I've done some searching and haven't seen a ton of posts about rotor problems on the 3rd gen TLs, but I have warped front rotors after 25k of driving (pads are less than half worn).
Dealer refuses to resurface or replace them under warranty. Seems very early to me on a car like this (it's not a G35 ) and I'm negotiating with them.
Comments? Experiences?
Saw that the rear rotors were redesigned in 06, but what about the fronts?
Thanks,
Scott

Lots of people get warped rotors, I never get them on any brand car.
I dont let shops work on my cars, I use high temp grease on the disk to hub, and one the wheel to disk, and do up the lug nuts with a torque wrench in a do one skip one pattern to 80 foot pounds.
The grease aaids in heat transfer, and stops rust, the torque wrench prevents
over tightning, and the result is I NEVER get warped rotors.

I tend to brake late and hard, maybe its from riding the motorcycle, the wife and even the son tell me about it....
I have had a Jaguar XJ6, a Passat, the TL, the wife had a taurus, a lincoln LS V8, the son had a buick and a camry, only the taurus warped its rotors, three times, but since it was under warentee, my wife took it to the dealers.
After the warentee was up, I did the brakes, no more warping.
Three times in the first 30,000 miles, no warpage in the next 30,000 miles.
It works for me...
