Vtec oil pressure switch/P2647 AGAIN
Hey I was wondering if someone here could help me out a bit. I have an 05 TL and about a month ago I got the P2647 code for the vtec oil pressure switch and solenoid and stuff. I called the garage but they were busy so I put it in myself. (I bought a whole new assembly with gasket, solenoid AND pressure switch). It worked fine for about 2 and a half weeks. Now my engine light is on again with the same issue BUT my car is showing no symptoms at all. It runs fine and fast and does not cut out at all when hitting vtec range.
The parts are all new, they aren't leaking, and they are working fine but my engine light just came back on. Any ideas?
Also the weird thing is the light came on after about 20 min of hi way driving with cruise control, not in the vtec range at all.

So I was able to erase the engine light with my code reader and it hasn't come back yet. Is it possible I need to get something reset by the dealer? The light went off its self when I replaced the part then randomly came back on without any symptoms and took me deleting it manually this time. I don't understand why it came back..

Copied from code listing:
If there is a difference between the oil pressure condition in the hydraulic circuit that is determined by the ECM/PCM
command and the oil pressure condition that is determined by the status of the rocker arm oil pressure switch
(VTEC oil pressure switch), the system is considered faulty, and a DTC is stored.
