So this morning I am on my way to work, and as I turn out of my street I look down and see the VSA triangle on... I thought that I may have hit the button accidentally when i got out of the car after I started it, so i pressed the VSA button and the light turned off...

2 mins later after I turn onto another street, I notice the VSA triangle is on again... WTF?!? so I hit the button again and the light turned back off the whole ride to work...

it wasn't like i was on her and losing traction to cause the light to come on... and usually, if i don't have any traction to cause the VSA to activate, the light flashes and then turns back off...

a bit of history, the VSA/ABS unit was changed earlier this year after I began to have a mushy brake pedal... the unit failed and was pumping air into the brake system... when the light turned on this morning, all the brakes worked fine and no wierd noises or anything...

anyone have any thoughts? it gave me a good scare this morning...

 

I would check if there are any stored codes. I've had this happen once on startup, but I just turned off the car and restarted. Unless it comes up with an engine code or transmission code and won't reset or reoccurs, I wouldn't worry about it.

 

I had a bad wheel sensor and it caused that.
