Vsa lights came on and cant shift from park
Last night my vsa lights came on. I shut the car off and it appeared to be reset. This morning I get into the car and they're back on and I can't shift from park to drive. I had to use the key release slot next to the shifter. I just pulled the fuses and all are ok and I pulled the neg terminal on the battery to reset the whole car and still throwin the vsa lights. Anybody experience the problem with being able to shift out of park? The car is an '08 Type-s 5AT
ive seen this on my friends 04 TL 5AT that we fixed, pressure switches on the transmission were bad and had to be replaced. However, this car had 120,000 miles on it, probably needed to be changed.
My 05 TL 5AT (33,000 miles) would let me shift through gears but would just rev and not move, died out on the highway, had to get the tranny replaced.

yeah my brake lights are on. I took it to the dealer yesterday and they said it was a fuse and that my air horns are drawing to much power. Right there I know they were on some b.s. I told the service writer how does the horns come into play with the shifter and the vsa and tcs. Then this morning I couldn't pull the shifter out of park again. The vsa light is off so that might have been a fuse ok fine but the shifter not coming out of park is still there. So I call the dealer this morning and tell them the problem is still there. right away "oh I told you it was the horns causing the problem" I told him all the fuses were good. I checked every single fuse with a tester this moning. He calls the tech and asks him which fuse was it, he said #20 under the hood. I go and check and it's the power seat fuse. I say are you sure thats the one he changed. I hear the tech say yes I'm positive. I told him that every fuse works and that the brake lights work so he asks me if I spilled anything on the on or around he shifter. I told him I don't recall, but now it looks like the solenoid under the shifter is shot.
somebody help i am having this same problem! what do i do?
just got my airhorn and was pressing it at some loser, then all of a sudden the horn went dead and the vsa light turned on. I turned off the car and when i tried to turn it on, it wouldnt shift out of park! I also noticed that my brake lights are NOT turning on when i press the brake pedal...help
