I changed my car's pad yesterday. Today, when I returned from a trip and parked it i did not notice any anormaly until this evening when I wanted to drive out.
The VSA light came out. Then the it a very rough jack when entering drive. After a while, the accelerator stopped responding.

 

- What is "pad"?
- Check engine light is on? Any codes stored?
- Can you provide more car info ?

Sounds like app sensor.

 

Brake pad maybe?

 

It can be the accelerator pedal position sensor. Was there a check engine light?
