My VSA and ! light have been sporadically turning on and off. There is no check engine light, just the VSA light and the ! light on the left most gauge.

Additionally, my gauge needles for the MPH, RPM and engine temperature will go up and down by itself every couple of minutes by itself while driving. Driving and braking seems fine, however. Tried a search and did not find anyone having this VSA issue paired with needles going up and down as if my car was possessed....

bump. VSA and ! are still going off every now and then. So weird that the gauge cluster needles will move sporadically every couple of minutes or so.

Have your alternator checked. It can cause exactly what you are experiencing.

This sounds like a common brake light sensor failure. As a must for any diag. You need to have that car scanned.

I checked the third brake light and it lights up correctly when the brake pedal is pressed.

Alternator is good as well. Battery is charged.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, I have the same problem, I was serching every where for this and I cant get an answer, any help will be appreciate, Thanks in advance guys.
