Just bought the car last friday with 108k miles on it. Drove fine for the first few days, then one day starting up and taking off I noticed the VSA light and "!" indicator stayed on the whole time driving. After I got gas and started the car back up, and it didn't happen again. A few days later now, it hasn't done it again.

Is this something to be concerned about? I think I briefly remember this happening to some other members as well?

I think that guy has an auto though? But, I get no CEL and the car still drives perfectly fine. Rarely happens, but still something that worries me.

Guess i'll have to do a little more research

 

that's stability control...its probably a bad abs sensor. or maybe a connecting coming loose...any shop that has a abs scanner can check the code for you.

 

I had the same problem i had a bad fuse and an electrical short causing the fuse to blow so my local electrician fixed the short and replaced the fuse. He then cleared the light with the scan tool and it never came back on.
