VSA ABS Traction lights

My mechanic friend swapped out my lower control arm. After swapping and starting the car the abs and traction lights came on and stay on. What could it be? Everything looks to be intact.

Your mechanic friend should connect his scanner and check out why those light are ON. Maybe the sensor's wire got somehow damaged?

Unfortunately I believe you need a fancy scanner for that right? A regular scanner won’t do right? We don’t have access to one of those.
