Vibration issues - What to look for while test driving?
Hey all. I'm joining a little late to the party. I'm looking to pick up a new '08 this weekend. I plan to drive it everywhere to test it out first.
Question - Is there anything specific I should try to feel out in terms of vibration issues? If I get a little vibration between 50-55mph, should I assume that's normal for the TL? Or would vibration on a new '08 be indicative of major issues to come? After doing some last minute reading up on the vibration problems I feel like I should do a 180 and head for lexus...

No- suspension/tire vibration is not normal for any car.
If there is a slight vibration at speed, it can be an unbalanced tire or from tire flat-spotting (which will self-correct after a few miles). Regardless, the car prep was not properly done if there is vibration.
