Vibe and Rattle holding brakes in "D"

Recently noticed that when I put the car in Drive while stopped and holding the brakes, a muted rattle and vibe comes from what sounds like behind the driver's dash. Tested with AC running and it's not a factor.

Cannot be heard outside the car or under the hood. I've been reading about shot motor mounts and I hope that's not it. 44K on the car, 06 5AT.

does the shifter and steeringwheel vibrate? If you put the car into neutral does it stop? If yes, then it's one of the motor-mounts. You have warranty for 4 years 55K if you have an 04-06, and if you are barely out see if honda will good-will it for you.

ned you can also consider the innovative mounts if they dont consider you under goodwill. they cost a lot less than the stock mounts and you can beat them up pretty well without worrying about them breaking.

found it!

yep. chocked the wheels, put her in drive (with the e-brake, even though it sux), and popped the hood waiting for the rattle. Sure enough, it came around and I narrowed it down to the CAI tube where it's vibra-mounted to the inner fender. Turns out it was it was one of the wiring harness clusters that runs under the CAI rattling off the fender. The CAI was off and shortened when I installed the P2R spacers. I think the wire mount was originally under the AEM mount and snapped off. I shuffled and stuffed and it's gone.

I'm still curious about the motor mounts, though. Hard to say since my stock shocks are just about dead on H&R Sport springs. I'm putting Koni's on very soon and will evaluate further.

Thanks, ya'll.
