Lately, I've been having some kind of issue with the upper display that shows your A/C, time, & radio. Sometimes, it flickers or disappears for a couple seconds. Tonight, however, it disappeared for a good 20-25 minutes.


My question is, is this a quick fix or am I looking at something that's going to cost some money? I'm hoping it's something like a bulb or similar & just needs replacing after 8 years, & not something that requires my entire dash to be taken apart. I can easily live without it if it's the latter & will just have it fixed whenever I can afford to have the entire dashboard replaced (I have 2 cracks that form perfectly around the passenger airbag).

Appreciate any & all info on what could be causing it & how difficult it is to fix.
