Update me please---Have Acura posted a TSB for the 05 TL vibration problem?
Last time I checked with dealer they said the TSB is only for 04 and they can not install the "damper kit" for my car.
Anybody had it installed on 05?

Yeah, I'd like to know as well. I asked ACS what changed from the 04 to the 05 that exempts the 05 from the TSB - they gave me the standard "car changes from year to year, blah, blah, blah". But my 05 has the same 1500 RPM vibration as my 04 did . . .
Wonder if the 06 owners are experiencing any vibs . . .

I am sorry you are having issues, have you set an appointment with the factory rep to check your car yet, that would be the next step.

I have an 04 TL Navi 5AT. I had that same vibration problem at around 1500rpm, especially when car was cold. The original Bridgestone Turanza EL42s went bald at 26000 miles. I replaced them with Toyo Proxes4's. Guess what , no more vibration or flat spotting for that matter. Just ditch those crappolla tires or if you do not have many miles get the dealer to replace them under warranty. That should solve your problem.

Damper doesn't fix the 5th gear vibrations or drone
have 05 TL(navi), mileage is now 9600.
i've been having the 50-55mph vibrations/drone for some time now.
I hear buzz/whirling noise from under the hood and i can feel vibrations from gas pedal and floorbed(left foot).
It's gotten to a point where i couldn't take any more.
brought to the dealer on the 27/dec. Next day, tech called me and said he reproduced the problem but doesn't know how to fix.
and then a week passed by w/ no phone calls.
was told yesterday that car was ready. They installed some damper. picked it up and test drove it. The damper thing muffles the noise a bit but the root problem was still there.
Was upset and took it back to the dealer next day. Shop manager and his boss test drove the car.
They tried to explain to me how gear works and engine works and it's the car design they can't do anything about.....thus it's normal operation.
I said i can't agree w/ that and service manager said he'll arrange meeting w/ factory rep.
i think an avg motorist should never feel this on the high way when staying in 50-55 mpg.
I think this 'condition' substantilly impairs the value of the car and there are safety ramifications as well.
My goal is return this car for a fulll refund or a brand new TL..or RL.
chief tech said he's seeing may TL/TSX come in for repair..but not much for RL because of build quality in Japan being supurier than in US.
