type-s spoiler lifting on the side

I have had my type-s spoiler (trunk spoiler) for a while and it was lifting on the sides, but i left it like that for like 2+ years..

I then had to take my car to a shop for some other things and asked them to re-do my spoiler and they used better double sided tape on it, but it still lifts a bit after few days..

do you guys think it's permanently bent that's causing the lift or just bad taping job??

If it wasnt in an accident before then its a bad taping job. Had mine installed years ago with no probs till date. Try posting a pic so we can see what you're talking about

Is the tape separating from the spoiler or the trunk?

I have the same problem with my 2007TLS and it's the passenger side edge that keeps coming up. There is a strange looking yellow tipped fastener that you can see when the trunk deck liner is removed and it looks like it's broken. I tried slipping some 3M double side under the spoiler with tweezers and it lasted about a day. I think the spoiler has to come off and check whatever those fasteners are checked and replaced if broken but I'm not sure.
