Type S pressure switches- location help with pictures!

So help please!

I took my car apart this weekend hoping to do the easy pressure switch job on it. WHen i got everything out of the way... i found a hole (circled in red where i thought the PS was) but no switches and no unplugged sensor etc that i could identify. I unplugged what sensors i could looking for a match to what i had to replace and could not find it...

So gentlemen, if anyone has a picture of a 3rd and 4th gear pressure switch change over for a TL Type S or some help based on the picture I have please chime in.

I tried using a MDX instruction and now I am worried that my TL is missing something. However I have no codes etc.

Any info would be helpful, but pictures would be great

FYI: The thread listed above is for the base only. The '07 & '08 S-type (and I think '07 & '08 base too) have a different 3-shaft transmission that uses two 3rd gear switches, and one 4th gear switch:

2 x 28600-RKE-004
1 x 28610-RKE-004
3 x 90471-PW7-A00

The switch locations are also different.

Here's the right thread to help you:

Just finished mine this weekend--a real pain to access. Good luck, take your time. Be very careful not to cross-thread the soft aluminum threads as you start them in.

Bearcat....the DIY guide to 3G TL-S is not in the 3G Garage and you need to garage it

The link is in the post above me....

OP, the 4th gear switch it not tooo bad to access....but the two 3rd gear switches are a pain....make sure you remove the intake (filter box and path for OEM and move the aftermarket intake out of your path) and move the fuse box out of the path....this helps you getting to the 3rd gear switch easily....

also 22mm deep socket is what you need to have in-order to accomplish the task

we had to go out and buy one while doing dannyz car....I had a big 7/8" wrench which didnt allow room for movement on the Type S....

Thanks Danny, you are correct. In the garage thread the section that pertains to the 07-08 TL's is on page 6. There is a step by step with photos. Don't worry I made sure I ordered the right ones. (Total of 3) with 3 gaskets.
