Type S misfire codes
This morning i drove my car(08 type s manual) cold with the intention of not passing 2k to let it warm up but ended up going close 5k to merge. A few seconds later a code comes, then another and another...6 in total P0300, 0302, 0303, 0304, 0305 & 0306. Anyone ever had this happen? I have 130k miles, had the car for almost 5 months and the only issue i realize is a a very slight rough idle(vibration felt) when the car is cold. Other than that no issues with the car. I plan to check plugs, coil packs and egr valve when I get home from my work trip. Any other thoughts?

Fuel, spark, or air. One of those is your problem....with so many cylinders misfiring I would say it's fuel related most likely (fuel pressure)...next would be air. It's also possible you really need a plug change. Does it misfire when you lug the car, low rpms high load?

I'd suspect low fuel pressure as well.
Misfiring on virtually all cylinders means you can probably rule out spark plugs and coils.
There were no other codes? How long ago did you last fill the tank?

No other codes, only code I ad in the past was p0174 and 173(if I remember right), which was for the banks running lean but I got the refresh done at the dealer. Last fill up was his past monday and I have a little over half tank left.

Could also be valves. Were they checked/adjusted during the 105K service?
Or could be just a one-time occurrence. Have you been able to duplicate it?
Have you been using a Top Tier gas dealer? If not, I'd first fill the tank with gas from a Top Tier station and drive it for a while. If the misfires continue, you'll need to get it looked at sooner rather than later...

vavle adjustment was done at 105k service and I mainly use BP gas. So, leaving long island yesterday to get back to jersey the CEL was gone as soon as i started the car but at times the car seems constipated at lower RPMS. Maybe it's in my head but I am going to have it check out today.

It was bad fuel. I didn't take off the EGR but the issue went away as my tank was near empty. I filled it and it drives perfectly fine. I am still going to remove the EGR to clean it; plugs look perfectly fine and the coils are good.

Ah, my bad. The "z" threw me for a loop.
Glad it was as simple as bad gas. If you're not familiar with Top Tier gas companies, look it up. I printed out the list and keep it in my car in case I get somewhere where a Shell station is not available.
