Turning annoying noise and lights
Turning annoying noise and lights
Hello,
Whether I turn left or right there is a noise coming from the car. It's like a metal noise kind of like when you're going up in a roller coaster. It's very apparent when the car is cold, as in usually my first few turns. It gets worse in the winter because of the low temperature. I've brought it to two garages and they said they didn't hear anything even though people that have been in our outside my car hear it.
This has been annoying me for a whole year. If anyone has an idea please let me know.
Also I have another issue with my lights. more specifically my HID's. The garage guy said it was my ballasts but I was not convinced. The lights mainly the right one flickers. The one on the driver side, I just changed the ballast and it started doing that flickering also, which is why I don't think it's the ballast. I bought some new slim ones from Ebay so I'm gonna find out soon if it's that.
Thank you,
Norair

if it's a loud and low pop pop pop noise it could be your CV joints. Check your boots for cracks and leaking grease. Your boots also dont necessarily need to be ripped for the joint to be bad as well.
I've needed new axles for a while now. In the winter I hear them making noise when I first set off. They will make a "tack tack tack" noise when you make sharp turns when they are cold. They don't make any noise once warmed up and they are fine in the summer.
That's exactly my situation. I just changed one of my axels, looks like I gotta change another.
