Turn signal light issue

I have a 2004 Acura TL which the driver's side turn signal light does not turn on with the headlights while the passenger turn signal still does. However, the driver's side turn signal still functions when I use it to signal and when I turn on the hazard lights. I read around forums and it could possibly be a bad ground. My question is: how should I access the ground wire (through the hood, driver side plastic wheel lining, underneath)? And also, where is the driver's side turn signal wire grounded in the vehicle? Thanks in advance.

have you replaced the bulb before tackling the wiring? Keep it simple

I literally just read a thread suggesting that, haha. I'm gonna check right now. Would you happen to know if I could just access it from the wheel lining instead of removing the battery to take a look at the bulb?

you can. in fact it's the only way as i don't think you can access it from the hood.

Alright thanks. I just didn't think it was the bulb at first because it still worked when I signaled to turn. But I'll try replacing it & keep an update.

Turn signal bulbs are dual filament, one can still be functioning without the other.

Yep, "parking light" usually goes out first, signals still work because it's a separate filament inside the same bulb.
