Turn signal bulbs stuck ON after switchbacks

After installing some 7443 switchbacks, my turn signals (rear) are stuck on, and the switchbacks don't light up at all, not even with the turn signal(s) engaged. I've noticed that these bulbs only have four terminals on them, whereas the stock 7443 bulbs have eight. Perhaps I was sold the wrong bulbs, or is this just how they act until I get a load resistor on them? I've installed LED bulbs before and usually I just get hyperflash and that's it.

Apparently the car does funny things when the front LED bulbs don't work. Anyway, I flipped the switchbacks around (flipping the polarity) and they work now. If I take one bulb out then that side is stuck on. Not sure why it works that way, but whatever everything works now.

Perfect....also remember the front is 7443...the rear you can get away with 7440
