so i was replacing the stock license plate bulbs with LED ones and when i removed the trunk liner, a spring and a plastic piece fell out of the trunk lock. Now my trunk will not close properly. I have to manually adjust the lock for it to close. I am lucky that it opens without any problems. Before shelling out money to get it fixed, does anybody know where these parts go?? i looked at the diagrams for the trunk and it does not specify these exact parts. I know some of you have had this same issue. Can somebody please take a pic of their trunk lock or help me figure out where this spring goes.

is this an 05-06 or 07-08 model? there may be a difference. I could email you a pic PM me your email
