So I have this issue with the trunk being lock from slamming it to hard. theres no way for me to reach from the inside to the back cuz my subs are in the way. i was wonder if there was another way around it like removing the rear license cover. Has anyone ever remove that part before if so let me know! thanks

 

I had the same issue but I still had enough clearance above my sub to reach back there. You might have to take the back seats out.

 

how far down is the trunk release? my box is pretty huge

 

its at the top, just above the pass thru opening

 

So the trunk release button doesn't work at all? You try messing with that switch in the glove box?
