I have a acura 2004 TL with a trunk lid not opening from remote but opens when you push the open button in the car. Remote opens and locks doors. Replace the trunk solenoid? Any clues appreciated. Thx

 

If button inside the car opens the trunk the solenoid and wiring must be good. Do you have another remote to test?
If another remote doesn't open the trunk, maybe MICU went bad? There's not much to the circuit. Report and we will dig further.

 

Maybe bad / dirty button contact inside the remote?

 

The hood release button opens the trunk. Tried both remotes. They are after market and worked initially to open the trunk....then intermittently, then not at at to open trunk. Both remotes open the door locks.

Maybe I should get new remotes? Maybe both new remotes have problem with trunk button?
