Trunk Button does not work. I searched!!
I install a NeoIonAUx ipod connector. Now everytime I want to open my trunk I have to turn off the engine and press the fob button. The wires behind the button are all good and the mirror controls and VSA off button work fine. It's just the trunk. Could it be a fuse or something? The button in the glove box isn't turned off either. Please help me somebody. It could very well be I didn't connect something right.

You might have your car accidently set for valet security. That happened to me once. Check in the glove compartment and see if your switch is set for that security. If so, you can only open the trunk with the key fob. Read the manual and it will explain in detail.

Double-check the wires on the switch in the glove box. When I removed mine (glovebox) to install my DICE, the cheap valet switch fell apart. It was, thankfully, easily put back together. On mine the wire was not long enough and pulling the glove box down put enough stress on the switch to have it come apart.
The switch must be closed (shorted) for the trunk to operate soooo, if the switch got boogered it might be your problem if you removed the glove box for your installation.
Hope this helps.

Thank you guys. I had this same issue and it was because someone accidentally flipped the valet switch - which I didn't even know existed. You guys rock, I love this forum!
