Transmittion Leak

So I went to change my oil and they told me that my transmittion was leaking. Does anybody know if this is bad and can you keep driving with it? And how much would it coast to get it fixed?

If it's your rear transmission seal, maybe $30. however if its coming from the transmission itself, your looking at potential big bucks..

Drop the TT's add the SS's and Cost*

Depending on what's leaking as in Axle seals it will be a fairly easy repair yet still pricey. If the transmission housing is leaking then your only option is to drop the unit out and re-seal the case at that point you might as well find a rebuilder and have the transmission rebuilt. IF it's a minor leak where it's leaving stains and not dripping to the ground you can ride it out, just check the fluid level once every 2 weeks. If it's leaving anything on the ground and hard to judge because of the under body shield then it's time for a proper repair. Either way this can range from $300-2000. in cost.

You have to find out where it's coming from first.

If you've never seen a drip I wouldn't be super concerned.

Check to make sure the breather tube on top of the trans is not plugged up or off.

I looked at it, and it looks like its from the rear part of the transmittion. I dont know if the way i drive the car because i noticed ones i drive my car like reckless, speeding, and just ripping it, thats when i noticed that it starts to leak.

Sounds like the first of many problems for you and your car. I'm out of this one.

Abuse of a vehicle doesn't help the situation of this leak. Of coarse the leak will be more present after what you discribed however with your driving conditions why are you so concern about the longivity of the transmission leak? You got to pay to play, I would just repair the leak before you end up replacing the transmission.
