Transmission Stumble. (Just paranoia but need advice)
So I own a 99TL and have replaced the tranny once and am ready to do so again...
I now own an 08 as a daily driver 26k miles on it so far.
The vehicle is a Base Model 5AT
The transmission seems to have a slight kick when shifting from 3rd to 4th and from 4th to 5th.
The kick will only occur when manifold vacuum is at it's lowest for that speed and gear. If I'm going 55 in third gear and go WOT for 2-3 seconds and shift the kick will occur. However if I'm going 55 and decelerating the shift is smooth. Same thing applies at 4th gear.
Is this normal?
