Transmission Slipping? Common issue? Torque Converter let go?
Hi all,
Today I went to start my 2005 TL and it would not drive foward in drive. It just slipped. in REVERSE, when you give it gas, it slowly slips forward as well. the fluid is BROWN but doesnt smell too burnt... but it is literally 3-4 QUARTS over the dipstick. I dont know if the torque converter went out or what.
Any suggestions before I source a replacement trans?
