SO when I put the car into drive or reverse, it starts making this clicking sound. Like something is rattling around inside the tranny. In park and neutral there is no sound. Could this just be in need of a fluid swap, or worse? No weird shifts, although when it's cold the shift from 1 to 2 is slightly slower than the others, not by much.
I have an 04 Base Automatic, 127K miles.

 

I have the same noise when I put my car in gear I hear a rattling noise as if something is loose, but my tranny feels and drives fine though. I have a 06 base tl.

 

How long has it been happening to you? Anything happen that has made you worry?

 

It's been making the noise for about 3 months already but still runs great I haven't had anything bad happen yet but I've been wondering where the noise is coming from.
