All great questions. I am still waiting to hear back from them today on the eta for the genuine. I will be sure get ask which side broke as well as what all that price includes. I think price of the parts w/o labor was in the $600 range for the genuine and $400 for the aftermarket. And thanks! I'll update once I know more...

I was going to say, I thought Honda fixed the auto transmissions after 2004...? Anyway glad it's just an axle. I remember I bought CL-S axles from Bernardi online for $150 per side, and installed them myself. Can't imagine paying $800 to have axles replaced, wow.

So I didnt confirm the price, but I did confirm that mine was just the driver's side and that there is a 3 WEEK WAIT!!!!!! for the genuine part. I can't really be without my car for that long but I really prefer the genuine. What to do....what.....to.....do....

I dont want to have to make a new thread so hopefully someone can give me some insight. (04 6mt) I have this symptom! Odd thing is that my vibration/shuddering feel only happens when i first start driving for the first couple miles then it goes away. I have confirmed its not my tires (All DWS front 2 new and rear have 17k mi, i then rotated the new to the front thinking bad new tires, but same symptom) and my axles have just hit 150k miles so i'm sure this is my issue, but its an odd symptom. I do have a slight shake in the steering wheel when accelerating quickly, which i believe is a symptom. Thoughts anyone?

Maybe check Raxles? I know they are known as a good replacement, especially for lowered TL's. From what I've read they rebuild the OEM to a better quality!

Thanks Acurazine!!
That's great, wish I was this fortunate. My transmission just died this past weekend(11/18/2015) with only 116k miles 06 TL
