Transmission:

Hey, I've noticed after driving many TLs that my 06 5AT has a lag while accelerating; I'm not talking about redline off a stoplight. While passing on the highway, it takes 1-2 seconds before the trans engages(it seems). I can hear the engine rev, but I don't get the umph until after the hesitation.

Could my torque converter have been bad all these years? 37,000 miles.
I bought with 18 miles on it, and I always babied it. I didn't really think much of it until lately after driving my brother's TL(06 TL 5AT, 39,000 miles) for a few days.

Let me know what you guys think. It literally feels like the transmission from the crank to the input shaft has a slight delay.

I'm gonna try to hook a scan tool to check pedal position and TPS when I get a chance.
