Car-Stats.com Report for 2001 Honda Accord EX V-6
Obtained from MT June, 2001
0-60: 7.7 Transmission: Automatic
1/4 Mile: 15.9
1/4 Speed: 89

As far as any one knows are these correct, as it looks the 2000 is .5 second quicker to 60 vs. the 99...as i know. but with only "25" more HP the 99 is .5 secon quicker to 60 than the 01 accord...just wondering. not sure where i was going with it but ive driven a 00 accord ex v-6 and it feels significatly slower than my TL. where there any big changes in gears other than engine size, or anything else?

I honestly don't believe the difference between the 99 vs. 00-03 TL-P is .5 difference. the 00-03 stock vs. 99 stock, the 00-03's are faster, but they don't feel mucher quicker at all. The extra gear in the tranny for the 00-03's does make a difference in performance, also in the reliability of the tranny hahaha. the 98-02 AV6's are slow to me.

Damn, and all this time I've been thinking it's because of the amount of displacement, # of cam gears, # of valves, size of headers, diameter of intake pipe, bore of the throttle body, diameter of the exhaust pipe, and ecu programming. Guess I was waaaaaayy off.

The 03-05 and especially the 06 AV6 are very fast for a 3.0L engine (especially in 6MT form).

I also agree about the transmissiosn. It's best to get a '99 since the 4 speed is more reliable.
