Ok guys I purchased an 06 TL (Auto) about a week and a half ago..car drove absolutely fine for the first week until I went to gas up. I filled up with regular 87 octane which I was iffy about and then all of a sudden started having an issue with the car shifting into 3rd. When I use tiptronic and go to shift into 3rd it hesitates and when it's in 3rd and I hit the gas the rpm's rev up as if the cars in neutral and then finally slams into gear. Don't no if its that possiblity that the 87 octane threw off timing or a pressure sensor in the tranny..HELP!!!

 

has nothing to do with gas.... you have some transmission problems there. better have it checked

While at the dealership, you might want to look around for any used Accords that were built to use regular gas

 

Seconded. I do not understand why people spend more than 20 grand on a *used* car and then balk at paying 2 bucks extra at the gas station.

 

Trust me money isn't the problem I was just so used to putting regular in my lex for 3 years that it almost felt like a routine

 

3rd gear pressure switch and use 91+ .. the CR is 11:1!
